Lansinoh Breast Pump

Flyng Start's Lucy Henderson picked up a Lansinoh Breast Pump whilst at the Birmingham Baby show. This is what she had to say:

With Charlie still exclusively breast-fed, I was very limited to the time I could spend away from him. With my graduation ceremony looming in July and still planning to exclusively feed until Charlie is weaned at six months in August, I reluctantly needed to try expressing in preparation....

The Lansinoh Breast Pump caught my eye at the show so I took one home to try. I first expressed using the Lansinoh hand pump in the bath, as Charlie feeds on both sides during one feed so expressing whilst feeding from the other was not an option for me. So when choosing to express following his morning feed to acquire the richest milk, I was surprised to express over three ounces. On first use this took approximately 20 minutes, but like lots of things it is a skilled art, which does get quicker and easier. The Lansinoh breast pump is small enough to take out and about, which will be required on graduation day to relieve those full breasts! With our forthcoming holiday in June, the Lansinoh breast pump will be added to my suitcase, so hubby and I can have a belated wedding anniversary celebration and leave Charlie with the grandparents for the evening, happy days!

The Lansinoh Manual Breast Pump is Bisphenol-A free, made from 100% polypropylene, the preferred plastic for breastmilk storage. It is easy to put together and take apart, easy to clean and is silent to use.
