What are you up to at the moment?
I’m doing the Rocky Horror show on tour at the minute, I’m in Darlington. I finish on the 9th of December.

Have you started any Christmas shopping yet?
I have some little bits, a few bits for my son, and some woolly hats and gloves from me because his birthday is just before Christmas. But no, not really, to be honest.

What kind of presents can your son expect this year?
I don’t really know to be honest. He likes bikes and cars and things, so there will be lots of that. He’s got loads and loads of toys so it’s so difficult.

What was Christmas like as a child for you?
I remember I always used to get so, so excited. My brother and I would be not wanting to go to bed before, and be convinced we could hear Santa Claus on the roof. It was so exciting, and my neighbour used to come over and join in with our Christmas. It was brilliant, such good memories looking back.

Is Christmas just as exciting for you as a mum as it was when you were a child?
It gets exciting again, absolutely. Yeah, I’m really looking forward to it.

What was your favourite toy as a child?
I remember having an A La Carte Kitchen and that being my favourite toy.

What is going to be top of your Christmas list this year?
Just my friends to have a great time. It just doesn’t get important anymore for yourself, so I’m just looking forward to having a really lovely day.

Where are you going to be spending Christmas?
I’m going to be at my house in Hertfordshire with my partner, my mum, step dad and my brother, he’s going to join us with his wife, so it’s going to be a really good Christmas.

Who is going to be doing the cooking?
I don’t know, I think we’ll probably all share it out.

Have you got anything planned for New Year?
We’ve got no plans at all. At the moment my boyfriend is working on New Years Eve so we haven’t got any major plans.

Is it back to work after the Christmas holidays?
I have got a few things in the pipelines but at the moment nothing has been confirmed so I don’t really like to say. But I’m just hoping next year will be an exciting year.
